Gasthaus Traube - Die Braustube
Regional German
The Braustube is the laid-back sibling to the more formal Traubensaal next door, a regional German gasthaus where the kitchen takes the same care either way. Pork cheeks braised in apple with mashed potato and bacon-fried Brussels sprouts is the kind of dish that makes you stop talking mid-sentence. The wine list runs deep, with a champagne selection that surprises for a room this unfussy. In summer, the garden terrace fills up fast.
