A centuries-old farmhouse restaurant perched at 600 meters above Freiburg, where the low ceilings, tiled stove, and worn wooden floors make you feel like you've stumbled into someone's very well-fed grandmother's house. The kitchen leans on French heritage, sending out seasonal tasting menus of four or six courses, no choices required. A bistro section keeps things looser with a short à la carte. In summer, the terrace with its Black Forest views is where everyone ends up.
