Glenlo Abbey Hotel

Two antique Orient Express carriages parked on the grounds serve as the Pullman restaurant, which tells you a lot about what kind of hotel this is. A grand 18th-century estate on Lough Corrib, three miles outside Galway, with falconry on the lawn, a nine-hole golf course, twice-daily cinema screenings, and a spa. Rooms have marble bathrooms and estate views. Palmer's Bar pours drinks beside aged steaks while swans presumably glide past.
