A restored colonial mansion in Antigua's UNESCO-protected center, this twenty-room boutique hotel takes the "local" commitment further than most. The artisan tiles were made by Juan José, the bath soaps by Lucy, and the coffee comes from a team trained by Guatemala's national barista champion. Rooms are airy and minimalist, the kitchen stays open late, and the bar later still, which in a city that closes early is its own kind of service.
