Grand Café Occitan
French
A reed canopy shades the terrace of this wine-village bistro and wine bar, which Château Maris converted from an old café and furnished with the kind of mismatched chairs that suggest nobody planned it but somehow it works. The short menu leans on seasonal Languedoc produce with the occasional quiet British detour, and the wine list runs deep on organic and biodynamic bottles from the region. Arty guinguette energy, without the pretension.
