The fairway outside belongs to a Jack Nicklaus course, and most rooms look straight out onto it from a private terrace. Guarda Golf is a chalet-style luxury hotel in Crans-Montana that opens only in summer and winter, which sounds limiting until you realize those are the only two seasons anyone actually wants to be here. Exposed beams, Italian limestone bathrooms, and a wood-paneled bar built for après-ski aperitifs. The Michelin Guide awarded it 2 Keys.
