    A white grand piano sits in the Lennon Suite, which tells you this Beatles-themed boutique hotel near the Cavern Club is playing it straight rather than camp. The portraits and memorabilia are central to the appeal, but the rooms are genuinely plush, with Hypnos beds and mod design that would hold up even if you'd never heard "Help." The restaurant and cocktail lounge pull a local crowd well beyond the pilgrim trade.
