A thousand acres of Alentejo farmland, planted with vines and olive groves, and the hotel takes up only a small corner of it. Villas are scattered across the estate, some with private pools, others with fireplaces and grand pianos, all with terracotta floors and wood-beam ceilings. The winery is on-site, the eggs are from the property's own chickens, and bicycles are free to borrow. The Michelin Guide awarded it one Key.
