A former sheepfold in the Extremadura borderlands, now a boutique hotel where the stone walls stayed and the interiors went quietly, confidently contemporary. Each room is named for someone who once worked the land, with a short poem where the description would be. Wild boar and mouflon roam outside; in spring, vultures nest and the rosemary fields go purple. On weekends the whole property rents as one, cook included.
