Hofstede Meerzigt

A converted 17th-century farmhouse on a leafy estate that also manages to contain a wine barn, a wedding stable, and a garden terrace, which gives the whole place an air of mild ambition. It's a French restaurant in the relaxed mode, with a kitchen that leans on clean, familiar flavors and nudges them sideways with Asian touches. The wine list is long and taken seriously.
