    A row of 18th-century sugar warehouses turned boutique hotel, Hotel du Vin Bristol sits near the renovated docklands with the bones of its industrial past still visible. Rooms lean into the loft-conversion aesthetic, with walk-in showers and roll-top bathtubs doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Downstairs, a billiards room, a serious wine bar, and a French-inflected bistro that Bristol locals treat as their own round out the picture.
