Hotel Eiger Mürren

The only way in is by funicular or train, because Mürren has no road, and that absence sets the tone for everything else at this family-run Alpine hotel. Rooms are simple, the bar is cozy and floral-curtained, and the ski trails pass close enough that you can hear them from outside.
