A 1920s Basque-style villa on the Atlantic coast of Charente-Maritime, converted into a luxury boutique hotel that somehow keeps the atmosphere low-key. Hammam, treatment cabin, paddleboards, and electric bikes cover the active-and-not-so-active spectrum. The on-site restaurant, Chez Bob, operates as a sea-view brasserie, a garden brunch and tapas spot, and a poolside table situation, which is three restaurants for people who can't commit to one.
