Hotel Marques de Riscal, a Luxury Collection Hotel

Frank Gehry designed this hotel as a winery headquarters that became too striking to keep private, and the titanium ribbons draped over the building still stop traffic in the middle of Rioja wine country. Rooms in the main structure follow its swooping contours, with outward-canting windows framed by steel. A Caudalie vinotherapy spa, a wine bar, and organized tastings round out a stay. The Michelin Guide awarded it one Key.
