Two floors carved out of a large Tokyo business hotel, Executive House Zen operates as its own quiet world above the Akasaka Estate gardens, one of the few patches of green left in this part of the city. Pierre Hermé pastries in the lounge and Ferragamo in the bath set the register. Rooms are generous, the lounge runs six meals a day, and guests borrow the full hotel below, including dozens of restaurants. It holds a Forbes Five Star and a Michelin Key.
