Il Ritrovo d'Abruzzo

Getting here means winding through hilly, pastoral Abruzzo, which is half the point. This family-run country restaurant in Civitella Casanova puts Abruzzese tradition on the table, with pasta made from the family's own wheat flour and produce from the kitchen garden out back. One brother runs the room, one runs the kitchen, and the whole thing runs on a kind of cheerful conviction. The Michelin Guide awarded it a Bib Gourmand.
