    The maritime decor inside this Baroque brick building on Kaiserswerther Markt sets an elegant, slightly theatrical stage for Jean-Claude Bourgueil's French fine dining. Bourgueil has been at the stove here long enough to be considered the elder statesman of the Düsseldorf scene, and the room, the service, and the wine list all reflect someone who has had decades to get things exactly right. It holds a Michelin star.
