Intense
Fusion Japanese
The welcome begins in an old vicarage with drinks and a tour of the pantry before you settle into a minimalist dining room across from a centuries-old church. It's a two Michelin star creative restaurant where the Palatinate and Japan share a kitchen, grilled pigeon arrives izakaya-style, and fire does most of the heavy lifting. Counter seats face straight into the kitchen, and the team, including the chef on delivery duty, keeps things unhurried.

Bienenstich
“Try the deliciously sweet, intensely flavoured Bienenstich (bee sting cake), which truly lives up to the restaurant's name.”
