    White-sand beach access is the whole premise here, and the InterContinental Presidente Cancun organizes itself accordingly, with 300 rooms and suites pointed toward the ocean or the lagoon and a Le Cap beach club to anchor the waterfront. The rooms skip the rattan-and-palm-frond aesthetic in favor of something cleaner and more urban, with spa-caliber bathrooms and the kind of quiet that reminds you isolation is sometimes the point.
