    Kota means "shellfish" in Maori, which tells you almost everything about where the tasting menu's loyalties lie. Sitting on the Porthleven harbourside, the restaurant pulls Cornish seafood through a lens shaped by chef Jude Kereama's Maori, Chinese, and Malaysian heritage, with fish or meat options at each course. The result is somewhere between a coastal dinner and a quiet geography lesson, in the best possible company.
