Kumarakom Lake Resort

A 250-meter free-form pool winds through the grounds like a slow river, and a separate infinity pool at the far end dissolves into Lake Vembanad. This resort outside Kumarakom is a cluster of red-tiled villas arranged around all that water, with Kerala cuisine, Ayurvedic therapies, and open-air bathrooms that somehow feel less alarming once you've seen the view.
