L.A Restaurant
Mediterranean
Fourteen seats, not one more, in a vaulted room tucked down a narrow street behind the port. L.A. stands for Lazaro Anthony, the chef who runs this tiny modern tasting-menu restaurant entirely alone, including the bread, the ice cream, and the jus, all prepared over three days before the doors open Thursday through Saturday. The wisteria patio earns its place on sunny afternoons. Booking is its own sport.
