LA CHAVALLERA in der Krone Säumerei am Inn
Alpine New American
The cutlery here was forged by a local blacksmith, which sets the tone for a Michelin-starred tasting menu restaurant that takes its Alpine roots seriously without taking itself too seriously. The compact dining room is lined entirely in Swiss stone pine, and the chef, who came up through Hong Kong's fine dining scene, turns out precise, pared-back plates that nod to the surrounding Engadin valley. Guestrooms upstairs mean you don't have to rush.
