A one-man prix-fixe kitchen in Glen Park, named for the cicada, that symbol of Occitania, which tells you exactly where the chef's head is. Joseph Magidow runs the open kitchen solo, sourcing carefully and butchering whole animals, and the menu shifts daily with just a handful of choices. Southwest French cooking in a small room with a neighborhood feel that quietly outgrows the neighborhood.
