La Palombe
French
Deer antlers hang from the ceiling and framed lithographs of wild birds line the walls, which tells you most of what you need to know about the menu at this Kensington bistro. The cooking is classical French, the kind that takes confit duck leg seriously and still does a proper Paris-Brest. Seasonal game features heavily, and the pastel room is warmer than the hunting-lodge décor might suggest.
