    The yellow façade on the village pond square is the landmark; inside, this Michelin-starred Provençal restaurant is all genteel charm and market-driven classic cooking. The chef built a career around what the region actually grows, truffles, game, local cheeses, and garden vegetables, and runs a dedicated truffle menu in season. Book well ahead: Cucuron is small, the dining room is small, and everyone in Provence seems to know this already.
