A Michelin-starred fine dining room tucked inside a 16th-century building in one of Alsace's prettiest medieval villages. The chef runs the whole block, with a winstub and guestrooms nearby, but this is the serious table. Menus lean on Alsatian produce and a permaculture garden out back, so the cooking changes with what's ready rather than what's fashionable. The wine list is devoted to Alsace, which in this corner of France is not a hardship.
