  1. La Table du Marché

    Traditional French

The petrol-blue façade catches you between the cathedral and the river before you've decided anything. Inside, it's all exposed beams, rough plaster, and old stonework, the kind of room that earns the word "rustic" without trying. The chef leans into Breton produce and bistronomy, so the cooking is rooted but not stuck. A good list of wines by the glass makes it easy to linger, and the bill is modest enough that you won't be counting quietly.

    One honor, in evidence:

    The record strongest first

One number, weighted & current 69

Eat Score

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
