On the outskirts of a tiny Zamora village, this simple rural restaurant sits under a gabled roof hung with old farm implements, the kind of room that makes you wonder how serious the kitchen is until you see what comes out of it. The chef works an open-ish line on updated Spanish classics, and the Michelin Guide gave it a Bib Gourmand. Worth noting: there's a nearby museum dedicated to scale models of battleships and trains, which pairs oddly well with lunch.
