Blue corn tortillas packed with saucy, warm-spiced beef birria is the move at this Mission District taqueria, which calls its style Chicano rather than the more tomato-forward versions you'll find elsewhere. The asada and adobo chicken are there for the uncommitted, both lifted considerably by the creamy salsa verde. The San Francisco Chronicle named it among the best tacos in the Bay Area, which the line out front suggests locals have known for a while.
