    Four joined Regency townhouses in Nottingham's old lace-making quarter, now a boutique hotel with views of St. Mary's church and the Georgian law courts opposite. The look is contemporary-luxe rather than country-house chintz, with bespoke furnishings, wide sash windows, and bathrooms featuring freestanding tubs and rounded glass sinks. The studio suites span two levels and quietly retire the word "studio" from the conversation.
