The exterior looks like someone stacked enormous glass blocks and left them slightly askew, which turns out to be deliberate, a design by Andrew Bromberg that looms over Guangzhou's riverside with cheerful aggression. Inside, a 22-story atrium floods the marble lobby with light. This is a large luxury hotel with a spa, pool, rooftop bar, and multiple restaurants, and it draws everyone from Canton Fair regulars to leisure travelers happy to never leave the building.
