L'Auberge du Pas de Vent
Traditional French
A country inn in the Landes where the menu reads like a map of the surrounding farms: beef from the Chalosse network, fattened duck, milk-fed veal, sheep's milk cheese from a village shepherd. The bread is house-made sourdough with nothing added, and the portions belong to an era when nobody counted. It holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand, and the service is warm without being the least bit fussy.
