    The covered terrace looks straight at Grignan Castle, which sets a high bar before anyone touches the bread. This is a relaxed bistro, a sibling of the grander Le Clair de la Plume nearby, lodged in an 18th-century building wrapped in flower-filled gardens. The kitchen leans on local farms and seasonal produce, and the homemade pastries at the end tend to undermine whatever willpower you'd been carrying.
