    You can ski straight to the door, which sets the tone for a mountain restaurant that takes itself more seriously than its access route suggests. Le Farçon holds a Michelin star and earns it with a menu that moves between Savoie, Piedmont, and the Mediterranean without feeling like a geography lesson. Golden-crusted pies, fragrant sauces, the odd nod to Sicily: the chef finds a thread and pulls it through.
