Le Grand Monarque

A grand old house on the main square, close enough to Chartres Cathedral that you can hear the bells. The hotel keeps its period bones intact while slipping in modern comfort where it counts, the kind of balance that usually gets promised in brochures and rarely delivered in the hallways.
