Giant trees frame every window at this wooded resort just outside Lyon, where guests once came for iron-rich mineral waters and still come for more or less the same reasons. The spa has a large indoor pool, hammam, and Jacuzzi; rooms mix Art Deco rugs and canopy beds with bold botanical wallpaper, and all have private balconies facing the forest. The casino across the street keeps things from getting too serene.
