The frog pond came first, technically, since it inspired the name. Le Pré Rainette is a small country house hotel near Le Touquet, built new but dressed in antiques the owners tracked down themselves: old fireplaces, big wooden tables, vintage tiles. A room with a freestanding tub overlooking the forest, a family suite, and a separate cottage with a kitchen round out the options. Bicycles are on loan for the coast road.
