Le Vin Rouge Maître-Cavista
French
The steak tartare and Crêpe Suzette are both finished tableside, which tells you most of what you need to know about this cosy Franco-European bistro on the plaza. A couple traded careers in painting and teaching to run it, and the menu stays short and deliberate. The wine list gets serious billing. It's the kind of place where the service remembers you and probably asks after you next time.
