Les Mouettes

At one end of the Route des Îles Sanguinaires, right across from a private beach on Ajaccio Bay, Les Mouettes is a classic European seaside hotel doing what that type does well: sunny rooms in Riviera hues, a pool deck built for long afternoons, and a slight remove from the city so the Mediterranean, not the street, is what you wake up to. No restaurant, but Ajaccio's options fill that gap without much effort.
