1. Lukas Izakaya

    Asian Contemporary, Contemporary

A Japanese izakaya tucked into a gorgeous vaulted cellar in a small Austrian town, which is exactly as unexpected and good as it sounds. The menu runs from sushi and sashimi to shared plates and things off the Konro grill, and the regulars look like they've quietly figured something out. The room is chic but cosy, and the open kitchen near the entrance means you can watch the chefs work while you decide what to order.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score is the score we give to the place you're searching from, based on how cool we think the area around it is. If it seems unreasonably low, we probably just haven't added a representative amount of awards yet.
