Maerz - Das Restaurant

Warm wood panelling and clean lines set the tone at this Michelin-starred fine dining room inside Hotel Rose, where brothers run the kitchen and the cellar respectively. The cooking is modern French with a regional Baden-Württemberg backbone, the menu titled "Heimweh/Fernweh" (homesickness and wanderlust, more or less), which does a decent job of describing the food: local ingredients pulled in all sorts of directions by global spice and technique.
