    Original works by Catalan artists hang in every room of this 13-room boutique hotel on the Côte Vermeille, the modernist interiors keeping things spare enough that the paintings do all the talking. Some rooms add a private Jacuzzi or outdoor bathtub. Everyone gets the Phytomer spa, sauna, hammam, and a pool that makes the Mediterranean feel redundant. Collioure itself sits half a kilometer away, close enough for dinner but far enough for quiet.
