Three chefs who earned Michelin stars elsewhere pooled their ambitions and landed in a stone house between two lakes on the Plateau Matheysin, which is either very romantic or very remote depending on your navigation app. The vaulted dining room holds only a handful of tables, lit from the floor, with a glass-enclosed wine cellar visible from your seat. The mystery menu leans vegetable-forward and modern, drawing from southern Isère produce. Maltacina holds a Michelin star.
