    Terracotta floors, wrought iron chairs, and lemon trees growing indoors give this Italian restaurant in the Al Faisaliah Hotel the feeling of a Provençal courtyard that took a wrong turn and ended up in Riyadh. Mamo is an offshoot of a family-run bistro in Antibes, and the kitchen runs on the same recipes, now made largely with local ingredients. It lands a spot on The 50 Discovery list, which feels about right for a Mediterranean escape this far from the Mediterranean.
