This is a tasting-menu restaurant, one Michelin star, where modern British cooking leans into deep, considered flavours with the occasional playful detour, like dessert arriving as several dishes to share. Three bedrooms upstairs mean you can avoid the drive home, which after all that seems like the sensible plan.
