Melsted Badehotel

A chalk-white functionalist hotel on the Baltic coast of Bornholm, Melsted Badehotel has 21 individually decorated rooms that wear their 1930s badehotel style without apology. An 18,000-square-meter beach meadow runs down to a private bathing jetty, and the kitchen leans hard into Bornholm's seasonal larder and daily market haul. The cliff path to Gudhjem harbor is just over a kilometer, which is a very reasonable walk back from dinner.
