    A train station is built directly into the building, so checking in and catching a connection happen in the same trip. This Mercure sits in Meyrin's industrial zone, closer to CERN and a fine watchmaking school than to the old town, but ten minutes by rail to Cornavin keeps things honest. The six-story atrium and a large daylit conference centre pull the business crowd, and the 163 rooms are exactly what the brand promises: reliable, not romantic.
