    A red brick Gothic Revival mansion a block from Picton Harbour, Merrill House is the kind of boutique hotel that makes you wonder if you've quietly teleported to an English village. The owners split their time between here and London, and the décor takes that seriously, inside and out. Prince Edward County's wine country surrounds it, but the house itself is all anglophile calm, quiet enough to feel quasi-rural despite sitting just off Main Street.
