A working farm first, boutique resort second, Mharo Khet sits in the Thar Desert with actual green things growing in it, which feels mildly miraculous. Ten individual cottages each come with two outdoor decks, one for sunrise and one for sunset, because of course they do. The farm's own orchards and gardens feed three dining setups, including a nine-course dinner served at a communal table among the guava trees. Selected by the Michelin Guide.
